From input to answer.
- Open All Tools → Bending. Choose Offset.
- Select conduit material and size, then a matching bender setup. Confirm its centreline radius and any tool-specific reference values.
- Enter centreline rise, bend angle and your end/finished-length arrangement. Read the layout and any warnings.
- Switch between 2D layout and 3D explore to inspect the run. Use Guide me through this offset, review the checks and advance through the steps.
WORKED EXAMPLE
A 6-inch offset at 30°
Enter
For a geometry check, use 6 in centreline rise, 30° bends and a 4.625 in centreline radius. Conduit outside diameter is 0.706 in.
Read the result
The curved bends leave about 9.52 in of straight between their tangencies. Bend-centre spacing is about 11.94 in, with about 1.49 in geometric shrink across the offset. These are geometry values, not universal shoe-arrow marks.
Get more from it.
- Measure rise between conduit centre lines. Obstruction height alone may omit required clearance.
- Use the bender and conduit combination you actually have. A trade size is not the outside diameter.
- In 3D, inspect direction and orientation before bending. The guide’s reference labels matter as much as the numbers.
Know the limits.
- Finite-radius geometry can differ from a simple rise × multiplier table. Very small rises may not fit the chosen radius and angle.
- Tool calibration, grip, springback, floor position and real obstruction clearance still need independent checks. A rendered shape does not prove it can be bent on your equipment.

Common questions.
Is the basic offset included in the free app?
Yes, including its 2D/3D views and build guide. Other bend types require Premium.
Can I try the calculation online?
Yes. The online offset calculator covers the core geometry; the app adds the equipment workflow and build guide.
