From input to answer.
- Open All Tools → Bending and choose the bend type. Advanced types require Premium.
- Confirm the conduit and bender setup before entering dimensions.
- Enter the fields for your chosen shape: for example, Rise and Roll for a rolling offset. Review angle, straight sections and end arrangement.
- Inspect the 2D layout and 3D explore views. Check dimensions and warnings before transferring any marks to material.
- Choose Guide me through this bend for the applicable bend sequence. Custom sequence opens its fabrication guide. Review the checks and tool references before following the steps.
WORKED EXAMPLE
Understanding a rolling offset
Enter
For Rolling offset, enter 3 in rise and 4 in roll.
Read the result
The true offset is √(3² + 4²) = 5 in, in a plane rotated about 53.13° from the rise direction. Bend spacing still depends on your bend angle and centreline radius.

- Available advanced shapes include Rolling offset, 3-point saddle, 4-point saddle, 90° saddle, 90° stub, Kicked 90°, Back-to-back 90° and Custom sequence.
- Keep end references consistent. Inside, outside and centreline dimensions are not interchangeable.
- Use Custom sequence for connected steps; review the whole run as well as each individual bend.
Know the limits.
- Tool-specific deducts and geometric reference marks are not interchangeable. Some setups require measured values.
- 3D is a planning aid; it cannot establish real-world machine clearance, grip or code acceptance.

Common questions.
Do advanced bends include guides?
Yes. The current app offers the applicable bend-sequence guide, with a separate fabrication workflow for Custom sequence. The basic Offset has its own guide in the free version. Equipment checks and tool limitations still apply.
